On the morning of June 1, the Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) coordinated with the Provincial Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital to organize a health check-up program for union members and workers.

The health check-up program took place over 2 days (June 1-2), with a total amount of more than 115 million VND supported by the following units: Apatit Vietnam Company Limited, Lao Cai Petroleum Company Limited, Lao Cai Lottery Company Limited, Lao Cai Copper Smelting Branch - VIMICO, Sin Quyen Lao Cai Copper Mine Branch - VIMICO, Lao Cai Urban Environment Joint Stock Company.

At the program, 200 female union members and workers were consulted on reproductive health care and health check-ups: fresh cervical examination; bacterial staining; breast ultrasound; mammography; free medicine (done after returning the examination results to the workers)...

The health check-up program is an opportunity for union members and workers to have their health checked and taken care of comprehensively and promptly; demonstrating the role and responsibility of the trade union organization in caring for and protecting the health of union members and workers, thereby creating motivation for union members and workers to work with peace of mind and strive to complete their assigned tasks well.
