Specifically, the industrial production index in February 2025 increased by 20.1% over the same period in 2024. Positive export growth in textile, footwear, and electrical, electronic, and component manufacturing industries... has created momentum for industrial production to break through.

In the first two months of 2025, Da Nang's industrial production index (IIP) increased by 10.5% over the same period in 2024. Of which, the processing and manufacturing industry alone - the city's spearhead industry - increased by 11%.

Da Nang's total import-export turnover in the first two months of 2025 is estimated at 552 million USD, up 14.6% over the same period. Of which, goods export reached 341 million USD, up 17.6%; goods import is estimated at 211 million USD, up 10.1% over the same period in 2024.

According to the Da Nang Statistics Office, the IIP growth rate demonstrates the efforts and overcoming difficulties of the business community; the high determination of the city's leaders to achieve the growth target of 2025.

In addition to industry, trade activities in Da Nang also grew strongly in the first months of 2025. It is estimated that in January and February 2025, the total retail sales of goods are estimated to reach more than 14,176 billion VND, accounting for 58.9% of the total turnover of goods, up 16.3% over the same period in 2024. Of which, retail sales of goods in supermarkets and shopping malls are estimated to reach 1,240 billion VND, up 15.4% over the same period.

In 2025, Da Nang City aims for GRDP growth of more than 10% compared to 2024. Of which, trade and services will increase by 10 - 11%; industry and construction will increase by 8.5 - 9%; the proportion of processing and manufacturing industry in GRDP will be about 12%. Total budget revenue will reach more than 30,000 billion VND.
