During the 5 years of implementing Resolution No. 35-NQ/TW, the Party Committee of the Bloc has strengthened the leadership of Party committees at all levels in protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints. At the same time, it has focused on directing, organizing the study, dissemination and implementation of the Resolution to raise awareness of Party committees at all levels and the contingent of cadres and Party members in the Party Committee of the Bloc.

The quality of political education and training is focused on, grasping the thoughts of cadres, party members and the masses, proactively fighting against "peaceful evolution"; strengthening the prevention of degradation in political ideology, ethics and lifestyle within the Party. The Party Committee of the Bloc directs, orients and guides subordinate Party Committees to immediately resolve arising issues at the grassroots level, not creating hot spots for hostile forces to exploit, distort and incite.

The Party Committee of the Bloc and its affiliated Party Committees have proactively coordinated and directed press and media agencies to actively inform and promptly propagate the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, especially guiding and organizing propaganda on major holidays and important political events of the country; propagating and educating the revolutionary traditions and ideal goals of the Party.

The Party Committee of the Bloc launched and successfully organized the Political Writing Contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints. Many Party Committees launched and organized the Contest creatively and effectively, attracting a large number of cadres, Party members, civil servants, public employees and workers to submit articles to participate in the contest, creating a positive effect, contributing to raising awareness and responsibility for the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation throughout the Party Committee.

Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee 35, suggested that the Party Committee of the Bloc should continue to direct its subordinate Party Committees to coordinate and organize the implementation of Resolution No. 35-NQ/TW more effectively with creative methods. Party committees and organizations at all levels should promote the work of educating and fostering political theory, especially Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought for cadres and Party members.

Academies, schools, research, education and training institutions on political theory work should strengthen theoretical research activities, summarize practices, discover new issues, and point out scientific and objective arguments to supplement, update and provide information to cadres and party members.

He stated that Party committees at all levels need to step up coordination with leaders of press and media agencies to strictly carry out political tasks, principles, and purposes, and comply with the direction of the Central Steering Committee 35 in building news routes and articles to orient propaganda on important political events and complex and sensitive cases of public interest.

At the Conference, the Party Committee of the Bloc awarded Certificates of Merit to 20 collectives with outstanding achievements in implementing Resolution No. 35-NQ/TW of the Politburo. The Party Committee of the Central Organizing Committee was honored to be one of the 20 collectives to receive this award.
