According to Ms. Tran Thi Mong Nghi, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh My commune, these activities aim to show gratitude for the contributions of benefactors and businesses in supporting the locality in building infrastructure and taking care of people's lives.
It is expected that the construction of the traffic bridge in Ke Phong hamlet, Vinh My commune will be completed before the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the commune, term 2025-2030.
In Ke Phong Hamlet, Vinh My Commune, a new reinforced concrete bridge measuring 25m long and 2.5m wide has begun construction at the Kenh Ngang intersection. The bridge, fully funded by Nam Hai Ca Mau Construction One Member Co., Ltd. at a cost of VND150 million, will replace the old, severely degraded bridge, making travel safer and more convenient for people. The project is expected to be completed after 35 days of construction.
At the house handover ceremony, Vinh My Commune People's Committee and Southern Power Corporation gave each household 2 gifts.
Also on this occasion, the Southern Power Corporation sponsored the construction of two charity houses, each worth 60 million VND. The two households that received the houses were: Mrs. Do Hong Phien (45 years old, My Phu Nam hamlet) and Mr. Nguyen Van Nam (51 years old, Minh Hoa hamlet).
Two houses have been handed over to households facing housing difficulties in the commune, providing them with a solid home and giving them more motivation to improve their lives.
