Continue the story of peace in 13 languages
Carrying the message "language is a bridge, peace is the destination", the school considers each language a cultural bridge, each song is a message from the heart, blending into the same melody to bring the image of a humane, resilient and integrated Vietnam to friends around the world.
"The MV is not only a tribute to the generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed for independence and freedom, but also a reminder to today's young generation about their responsibility to preserve peace, protect the Fatherland and spread noble human values," the program's official fanpage wrote.
According to information from the school, the MV "Writing the story of peace" was filmed at many iconic locations in the capital such as President Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, Hoan Kiem Lake, Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, West Lake...
Previously, at the press conference to launch the MV Vietnam - Proud to Follow the Future on August 14, musician Nguyen Van Chung also sent his thanks to the teachers of Hanoi University for translating his song into English, Russian, and Japanese, bringing the song's message further.
The musician especially thanks teacher Le Duc Man, who diligently translated many Vietnamese songs into Russian, and the songs were continuously introduced at cultural exchange programs between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.
After one day of release, the MV received more than 60,000 views and hundreds of comments on YouTube. On the school's fanpage, the post introducing the MV received nearly 6,000 likes and hundreds of comments and shares.
Many audiences shared that they were initially skeptical about whether a translated song could retain the same message, especially the heroic spirit and pride as the original version.
"However, upon watching it all, you'll see that the song is even elevated when placed in the context of international cooperation and connection, communicating with many different cultures."
"Thank you students, teachers and the school for a truly meaningful project that conveys the true spirit of the song 'continue writing the story of peace with me' and so that we can all always see the 'bright homeland' and the 'flag fluttering' in the sky of freedom," commented account nganthuy623@.
The MV is made in 13 languages including Vietnamese, English, Polish, Portuguese, German, Korean, Italian, Japanese, Russian, French, Spanish, Thai and Chinese.
There is also a photo book Continuing the story of peace
Nguyen Van Chung also announced that he has just accepted an offer from the University of Education Publishing House to cooperate in publishing the music book "Continuing the Story of Peace" .
"The melodies, memories, things I have seen, heard, and felt throughout my life will be told through the perspective of a little girl named Hoa Binh from childhood to adulthood, experiencing feelings of happiness, peace, and joy in life," the musician shared.
Accordingly, the book will be integrated with multimedia, including QR codes so readers can listen to music and watch videos shared directly by the musician.
Nguyen Van Chung said that royalties from each book sold will be donated to the Fund for Disabled Children in Vietnam.
