At the 27th Travel and Holiday Exhibition in Ottawa, Canada, interesting types of tourism and vibrant destinations in Vietnam were prominently introduced, attracting visitors.

Images of Vietnam's country, culture and tourism were introduced to Canadians within the framework of the 27th Travel and Holiday Exhibition, which took place in Ottawa on April 6-7.
The event was attended by the Vietnamese Embassy and representatives of international diplomatic missions in Ottawa, travel agencies and tourism service operators from around the world.
The event attracted the participation of more than 200 exhibitors and nearly 20,000 visitors, in which both sides had the opportunity to meet directly to exchange and learn in detail about destination and vacation information as Canada prepares to enter the summer, the season of bustling tourism activities.
According to Halina Player, the organizer of this event, after many years of not being able to organize it due to the pandemic, people are now very excited because they will have the opportunity to travel to many places. They choose to attend this exhibition because here they can directly ask questions and receive direct answers from local people, for example from Vietnam.
They will learn more through real contact, instead of just sitting reading books or watching on the screen. This is a good interaction, helping people get to know each other not only domestically but also expanding to the whole world in a specific and direct way.
Aiming to demonstrate the importance and value of tourism products, this year's exhibition provides visitors with information on more than 60 international destinations as well as about 40 tourist addresses in Canada and the United States.
The Vietnam booth attracted a lot of attention thanks to its beautiful location and unique information and images about the people and beautiful life of the country. Interesting types of tourism and vibrant destinations were prominently introduced to help visitors understand more about the hospitality of the Vietnamese people.
Visiting the exhibition for the first time, Mr. David You, a tourist from Ottawa, said he was interested in Vietnam and wanted to visit Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in the future. Mr. You said that he had studied the history of Vietnam and had also tried some Vietnamese dishes, so he was interested in Vietnamese culture and tourism.

Similarly, Ms. Player said that she would visit Vietnam after hearing so many good things about this Southeast Asian country. She also shared the story of a friend who traveled to Vietnam for 3 months and would love to come back because that friend said Vietnam is an extremely safe place.
Besides Vietnam, Cuba and Mexico also have vibrant tourism promotion programs. Cuba is always a destination chosen by many Canadians during winter and spring breaks because they want to get away from the cold days of the North American region, while Mexico has also begun to be interested in promoting its strengths of warm weather and unique culture to the Canadian market.
This year, American tourism representatives have appeared more, while Eastern European countries such as Croatia, Hungary and the Czech Republic are also looking to Canada to promote the ancient and charming beauty of these countries. Australia is also participating in this year's exhibition, with extremely unique products.
