Truck collides with passenger bus, male driver trapped in cabin

Initial information, at about 4:35 p.m. on March 25, a serious traffic accident occurred at the intersection between the road to Than Tai Mountain Hot Spring Park and the Western Belt Road (in Hoa Phu Commune, Hoa Vang District, Da Nang City).

Accordingly, a passenger bus with a Hue license plate carrying a group of foreign tourists was traveling from the center of Da Nang to Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park when it collided with a truck with license plate 43C 238.. carrying soil, traveling on the beltway from Hoa Ninh commune to Hoa Phu.

The collision caused the front of the truck to be severely deformed. The truck driver was trapped in the cabin.

Meanwhile, the passenger bus had broken windows. Many passengers on the bus were scratched.

According to information from people at the scene, the group of passengers on the bus were foreigners, making the incident attract even more attention.

Upon receiving the news, Da Nang City Traffic Police quickly arrived at the scene to carry out rescue operations. The truck driver was successfully rescued from the cabin and immediately transferred to the hospital for emergency treatment.

As of 6 p.m. the same day, police were still blocking off the scene and investigating to clarify the cause of the accident.
