Infantry Regiment 24 (Division 304, Military Region 2) celebrates 80 years of tradition

Speaking at the ceremony, the representative of the Regiment command reviewed the 80 years of building, fighting and growing of the unit.

Leaders of Military Region 2 presented flowers to congratulate the traditional day of Regiment 24.

With its outstanding achievements, Regiment 24 has been twice honored by the Party and State with the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces, and has been awarded many noble medals, including the First Class Military Exploit Medal, the Military Exploit Medal of various classes, and the Angkor Medal of the State of Cambodia. Many collectives and individuals have been honored, such as Company 2 - Battalion 4, Hero Le Ma Luong, Hero Le Van Tien, etc.

Promoting the tradition of a heroic unit, during the renovation period, the Regiment always focused on building political courage, improving training quality, combat readiness, and implementing major campaigns such as "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of being Uncle Ho's soldiers", boosting production, taking care of soldiers' lives, and maintaining close ties with the people in the area where they were stationed.

At the ceremony, officers and soldiers of the Regiment expressed their deep gratitude to the Party, the Army and the people; and affirmed their determination: to be absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the people; to be united, proactive, creative, to overcome all difficulties, to excellently complete all assigned tasks, to forever be worthy of the tradition of "Solidarity - Courage - Good training - Good fighting" of the heroic Tran Hung Dao Regiment.
