The Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC) has just issued Document No. 1319/EVNNPC-KT on ensuring power supply during the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day and the April 30 - May 1 holiday in 2025. The plan is implemented under the direction of Vietnam Electricity Group in Document No. 1875/EVN-KTSX+KD dated March 25, 2025, along with Directive No. 15/CT-BCT dated December 13, 2024 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on ensuring power supply during holidays, Tet and key events in 2025.

The goal of EVNNPC is to ensure the safe and stable operation of the power system, effectively serving political, cultural and social activities, as well as fully meeting the living needs of people in the Northern region during the holiday.

Accordingly, the Electricity Companies are implementing power supply plans suitable to the actual situation in the locality. The power system is operated safely, flexibly, and ready to respond to incidents. Locations holding large events are given priority to ensure continuous power supply.

EVNNPC distributes leaflets and advises people on safe, economical and efficient use of electricity.

During the period from 0:00 on April 5 to 24:00 on April 7, 2025 (Hung King's Commemoration Day) and from 0:00 on April 30 to 24:00 on May 4, 2025 (April 30 and May 1 holidays), EVNNPC requests units not to perform any work that interrupts power supply, except in necessary cases to handle incidents.

Power companies are also arranging backup generators in key areas, organizing 24/7 on-call forces, fully preparing materials, equipment, fuel, vehicles and communication systems to be ready to promptly handle any unusual situations.

Equipment inspection, maintenance and power line corridor clearance have been enhanced to prevent safety risks. At the same time, EVNNPC requires units to closely coordinate with local authorities, police and military in ensuring security, safety and fire prevention for power projects and power grid operation areas.

In addition, the Electricity units are actively coordinating with the People's Committees of provinces and cities to update the time and location of events, thereby developing appropriate power supply plans. At the same time, ensuring that business operations and customer care are maintained stably throughout the entire holiday period.

Northern Power Information Technology Company is responsible for ensuring the transmission system and operating network operate smoothly and reliably; organizing 24/7 on-duty support to control and operate the power grid in the entire region.
