Artificial Intelligence for the Community - Free AI for Beginners

“Artificial Intelligence for the Community” is a program that helps people grasp basic knowledge of AI, creating a solid foundation for the development of digital skills.

The “AI for All” initiative is a nationwide self-study program for all Vietnamese citizens, from students, office workers, parents, to the elderly, so that each individual can adapt to a world where AI is increasingly popular, as well as equip themselves with the necessary skills for workforce and social development.

Developed by Intel Corporation, the National Innovation Center under the Ministry of Finance and partners such as the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT), the “Artificial Intelligence for the Community” program has two main modules.

The first is AI Aware, which includes an introduction to the fundamentals, practical applications, and common misconceptions about AI. The second is AI Appreciate, which includes a deeper exploration of AI ethics, responsible use of AI, and its impact in various fields.

Speaking at the Program Announcement Ceremony, Deputy Minister of Finance Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc emphasized: “In the context of rapidly developing AI technology, a particularly important and urgent requirement today is to quickly popularize basic knowledge about artificial intelligence to the entire population in the most understandable way, according to international standards.

The implementation of the "Artificial Intelligence for the Community" Program at this time is very necessary and immediately meets the practical and urgent needs of learning, popularizing knowledge, and improving artificial intelligence application skills of administrative agencies, socio-political organizations, businesses and people."

Through online courses at https://ai–intel.nic.gov.vn/, the program not only helps people grasp basic knowledge of AI, but also creates a solid foundation for the development of digital skills.

The program will award digital badges to users who complete the four-hour course. The “AI for the Community” curriculum is available in English and Vietnamese.

The program is also designed to be accessible to people with special needs, ensuring that all citizens can learn and keep up with the country's digital transformation journey.
