The information was emphasized by Mr. Le Hong Quang - General Director of MISA Joint Stock Company within the framework of the ceremony to honor typical entrepreneurs and enterprises in innovation, digital transformation and AI application in modern production organized by the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises on April 25 in Hanoi.

According to Mr. Quang, artificial intelligence (AI) and smart data are irreversible trends, an inevitable direction to help small and medium enterprises improve operational efficiency, optimize resources and make accurate decisions in the digital age.

In the context of digital transformation taking place widely in all fields, the application of AI is no longer a choice but a vital factor. AI has now been strongly deployed in almost all stages of business operations: from sales, marketing, customer care to financial management, human resources and overall operations. The key point that makes AI a strategic factor is the ability to process and analyze huge amounts of data in a short time, thereby supporting businesses to make faster and more accurate decisions.

In particular, AI not only supports individuals but also has the ability to self-learn and self-adjust, gradually replacing many jobs that previously depended on humans.

“AI can now take on operational, analytical and predictive roles, helping businesses reduce costs, increase processing speed and improve competitiveness,” said Mr. Quang.

In the field of sales and marketing, AI is helping businesses create advertising content, personalize customer experiences, automate marketing campaigns, and use chatbots and virtual assistants to increase interaction efficiency.

For financial operations, AI supports document collection, automatic data entry, financial report analysis, cash flow forecasting, risk and fraud detection. This technology is also applied to credit scoring, creating conditions for businesses to access loans more easily.

In the human resources sector, AI also plays a prominent role in smart recruitment, personalized training, employee performance and behavior analysis, work schedule optimization, and potential risk warning.

However, for AI to work effectively, according to the General Director of MISA, not only technology is needed, but more importantly, innovative thinking from the leadership level to the entire organization. Enterprises need to build a team capable of accessing and exploiting AI, through training, inspiration, assigning specific KPIs and screening appropriate processes to optimize technology applications.

At the same time, businesses must build a culture of data-driven decision making. Modern management platforms along with software ecosystems capable of connecting and sharing data through KPIs are the ideal environment for AI to maximize its effectiveness.

Businesses also need to have a specific plan to deploy AI in each process and department, linked with clear measurement goals, ensuring practicality and the ability to track application effectiveness.
