Over 1,110 works entered the National Press Award for preventing corruption, waste and negativity

The 5th National Press Award for Anti-Corruption, Waste and Negativity, 2024 - 2025, organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in coordination with the Vietnam Journalists Association and Vietnam Television.

After nearly 2 years of launching, up to now, the Organizing Committee of the 5th National Press Award for Anti-Corruption, Waste and Negativity, 2024 - 2025 has received 1,110 valid works, 42 works more than the 4th season.

Building on the success of the previous 4 awards, the leaders of the Propaganda Department and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front requested that the members of the Council promote the experience and sense of responsibility of journalists who have been associated with the Front's press awards for many years, focusing on evaluating and selecting quality works for the final round.

At the same time, it is emphasized that the preliminary judging process to select works for the final round must closely follow the criteria and conditions in the Award Rules and regulations in the Jury's Jury Regulations.

Focus on selecting journalistic works with elaborate, creative and innovative forms of expression. The content is topical, mentions, reflects deeply, and has the power to spread the Party's policies, the State's new policies and laws on preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity. In-depth articles have high theoretical and practical value on preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity.

In addition, it is necessary to select works that reflect the struggle and refute distorted arguments about the work of preventing corruption, waste, and negativity; preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity in both the state and non-state sectors.

At the same time, commend and encourage examples of fighting corruption and waste; protecting those who discover, denounce, and fight against corruption and negativity; press works recommending, proposing, and proposing solutions to improve the effectiveness of the work of preventing and fighting corruption, waste, and negativity. The works reflect the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in participating in preventing and fighting corruption, waste, and negativity.

The representative of the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front proposed that, after the meeting, the preliminary judging subcommittees will immediately start judging and send the results to the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front before August 29, 2025 to synthesize and make an official list of works selected for the final judging to ensure progress and quality.
