Pham Thai Son - Director of the Admissions and Communications Center, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade said that after virtual filtering, by the afternoon of August 21, the picture of university admission scores in 2025 gradually became clearer, many majors are expected to remain stable compared to last year.
This year, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade received more than 178,000 applications for admission.
The two majors with the highest number of registered candidates are Logistics and supply chain management, and Marketing.
Specifically, Logistics is expected to score 24.75 points; Marketing is about 24.5 points; Law and Economic Law groups fluctuate between 24.25 - 24.5 points.
Majors in the Tourism sector such as Hotel Management, Travel Management, and Tourism Management are predicted to score 23.25 - 23.75 points.
Some majors that had a benchmark score of 18 - 20 points last year are expected to increase to 21.5 - 22 points this year, including Electronics, Mechatronics, Data Science , and Information Security.

Meanwhile, the Food Technology and Information Technology industries maintained the level of 23 - 23.5 points.
The lowest benchmark is for Environmental Engineering Technology, Aquaculture, and Materials Technology, expected to be 17 points.
"The school's benchmark score this year will basically be the same or slightly higher than last year's, if there is any change it will only be about 0.25 points," Mr. Son commented.
To candidates who are anxiously waiting for results, MSc. Son sends a message: “Take advantage of this opportunity to keep your mind relaxed by exercising, reading books, hanging out with friends or learning small skills. Stay calm and optimistic, and you will receive the results with the most relaxed mindset.”
In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade will recruit 8,300 students by direct admission, considering academic records, 2025 high school graduation exam scores, Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment test scores, and combining specialized competency assessment test scores and academic records.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade's tuition fees range from 110 to 116 million VND for the entire course, for bachelor's programs. For engineering degree programs, tuition fees range from 139 to 144 million VND.
It is expected that from 5:00 p.m. on August 22, universities will announce the first round of admission scores.
In 2024, the benchmark score of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade is from 17 to 24.5, the highest in Marketing. Followed by E-commerce, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, all with 23.75 points.
