The President welcomed and hoped that leading Vietnamese enterprises would cooperate and invest more in Indonesia, helping Indonesia realize its goals, especially investing in the new capital area of Nusantara, Indonesia.

The Indonesian President wants VinFast to expand its investment in the electric vehicle sector; Vietjet Air to open more routes to tourist destinations in Indonesia; Sovico Group to invest in tourism and real estate projects; and FPT Software to invest in the technology sector.

The ideas presented by businesses of the two countries at the dialogue focused on emerging fields and startups, demonstrating great determination and desire to work with the two governments to promote bilateral relations to new heights.

For his part, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh shared the vision of the Indonesian President.

The Prime Minister assessed that the vision of becoming a high-income developed country by 2045 of the two countries requires the participation of the people and businesses of the two countries, and mutual support.

The Prime Minister welcomed the determination and efforts of businesses from both countries in development cooperation and said that after nearly 70 years of establishment, Vietnam-Indonesia relations have continuously developed, in which economic cooperation is a bright spot. However, this cooperation is not commensurate with the stature of political relations, the scale of the economy, the population of the two countries, as well as the wishes of both sides.

Therefore, there is no reason why businesses from both countries should not come to explore opportunities and continue to connect and promote investment to realize high-level agreements and the ideas and goals of the two countries, quickly overcoming difficulties in the context of the current complex and unpredictable world.
