In 2023, the Resolution of the Provincial Party Committee and People's Council sets out 29 main targets. It is expected that by the end of the year, 26 targets will be achieved and exceeded the plan, 2 targets will not be achieved and 1 target will not be evaluated.

Regarding specific results, in general, the economy maintained a recovery trend, with an estimated annual growth rate of 8.01%. Industrial production regained growth momentum. Agricultural production had a good harvest across the board. By the end of the year, it is expected that 9/13 localities will meet the standards/complete the NTM tasks.

Total budget revenue in the area is estimated at 17,122 billion VND. Total social investment capital is estimated at 50,200 billion VND. Trade and services maintain recovery momentum. The socio-cultural field has achieved many positive results. Education has achieved outstanding results, 2023 is the second year the province has had students win gold medals at the International Chemistry Olympiad. Labor, employment, meritorious people and social security policies are implemented synchronously. National defense and security are basically stable.

Regarding the contents expected to be submitted to the year-end meeting, the Provincial People's Council and relevant departments and branches have focused on completing draft reports and resolutions in various fields. To date, 10 reports and draft resolutions have been completed and submitted to the Provincial People's Council; 17 reports and draft resolutions have received direction from the Provincial People's Committee and received opinions from members of the Provincial People's Committee for approval to submit to the Provincial People's Council; the remaining contents are being urgently completed by relevant departments and branches.

At the meeting, delegates focused on analyzing and evaluating a number of socio-economic indicators such as budget revenue, GRDP growth... and assessed the situation, expected socio-economic development indicators and tasks in 2024.

Delegates also reported on progress and gave comments on the contents expected to be submitted to the 18th Provincial People's Council's year-end meeting in 2023. The focus was on the following contents: implementation of the public investment plan; results of the implementation of the state budget estimate in 2023, revenue, expenditure and state budget allocation estimates in 2024; policies to support drug addicts; list of public services using the state budget in the field of natural resources and environment...
