Speaking at the meeting, Major General Luong Van Kiem, Commander of Military Region 3, affirmed that the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Thai Binh province have contributed to creating conditions for the armed forces of Thai Binh province to successfully complete their local defense and military tasks, contributing to the achievements of Military Region 3 in performing the task of ensuring national defense and security.

Major General Luong Van Kiem suggested that Thai Binh province continue to pay attention to and take care of building a comprehensively strong provincial military force, meeting the requirements of building a "lean, compact, and strong" force, ensuring the good performance of the tasks of local defense and security. At the same time, he suggested that the province continue to focus on planning and completing the construction of works in the provincial defense area, creating a continuous battle formation in the defense area of ​​the Military Region.

He also hoped that Thai Binh province would focus on implementing well the task of arranging and organizing the apparatus of the political system and local military organization according to the conclusions of the Politburo, the Secretariat and the direction of the Ministry of National Defense and the Military Region 3 Command, in accordance with Vietnam's defense strategy and military strategy.

Notably, the provincial military has done a good job of advising the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and Provincial People's Committee in comprehensively implementing local defense and security tasks; training and updating national defense and security knowledge for cadres, party members and people; completing 100% of military assignment targets; 100% of provincial military officers and soldiers have been exemplary in strictly implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws and military discipline; strictly maintaining combat readiness, grasping the situation, promptly and effectively handling arising situations, maintaining political stability, ensuring social order and safety at the grassroots level; combining socio-economic development with the implementation of national defense and security tasks with high efficiency.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee hoped that in the coming time, Thai Binh province in general and the provincial armed forces in particular will continue to receive the attention, leadership and direction of the Party Committee and the Military Region 3 Command in carrying out the tasks assigned by the Politburo and the Secretariat, especially the task of arranging and organizing the apparatus of the political system. In particular, the province will focus on building the armed forces strong in political ideology, streamlined in organization and staffing, in line with the national defense strategy and military strategy of Vietnam, meeting the requirements of the task of protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.
