Implementing the Plan of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province on the implementation of DNA sample collection for relatives of martyrs whose identities have not been determined, the Department of Home Affairs and the Provincial Police have coordinated with the People's Committees of districts, cities and towns to review, collect information, and enter data into the National Population Database system for 10,470 relatives of martyrs whose identities have not been determined, serving the collection of DNA samples, including 197 cases of martyrs' biological mothers and 7 cases of mothers of martyrs' biological mothers.
In Phu Tho province, DNA sample collection will be organized from May 7, 2025 to May 10, 2025. Sample collection locations are at 4 clusters in the province, concentrated at the district People's Committees. Cluster No. 1 will collect samples on May 7, 2025, including: Viet Tri City, Phu Tho Town, Lam Thao and Phu Ninh districts (organized at the People's Committee of Viet Tri City). Cluster No. 2 will collect samples on May 8, 2025, including the districts: Thanh Ba, Ha Hoa and Doan Hung (organized at the People's Committee of Thanh Ba district). Cluster No. 3 will collect samples on May 9, 2025, including: Thanh Thuy, Tam Nong and Thanh Son districts (organized at the People's Committee of Thanh Son district). Cluster No. 4 will collect samples on May 9, 2025, including the districts: Cam Khe, Yen Lap and Tan Son (organized at the People's Committee of Cam Khe district).
On May 10, 2025, mobile sampling will be conducted at the residence of citizens in cases where they cannot travel. Time starts at 8:00 a.m. every day.
