According to the Dak Lak Provincial Inspectorate, the purpose of the inspection is to grasp the situation of works and projects that are facing difficulties, obstacles, slow progress, long-term backlog, low efficiency and at risk of loss and waste.
Thereby, the authorities will identify the causes and promptly detect shortcomings or violations by investors. At the same time, they will detect limitations and inadequacies in policies and laws to propose amendments, supplements and handle violations (if any).
The inspection results will be summarized and reported to the Government Inspectorate , then submitted to the Prime Minister for handling and resolution, avoiding loss and waste, contributing to promoting economic growth.
Accordingly, the inspection will focus on 17 specific projects in Dak Lak province. Among these, many projects have large scale and total investment such as:
The traffic route from Bai Goc Port (South Phu Yen Economic Zone) connecting National Highway 1 to Van Phong Economic Zone (Khanh Hoa province) is invested by Phu Yen Economic Zone Management Board with a total investment of 1,407.2 billion VND.
The embankment to prevent landslides on the left bank of Ba River combined with urban infrastructure development is invested by the Provincial Management Board of Construction Investment Projects, with a total investment of 954.0 billion VND.
Tuy Hoa City Coastal Park is invested by the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, with a total investment of 921.1 billion VND.
Traffic route section National Highway 26 (Km 145+800) - National Highway 14-Provincial Road 8, Buon Ma Thuot city, invested by Hoang Nam Community Construction Company Limited, with a total investment of 485.0 billion VND.
Giai Phong Road Project, section from Nguyen Chi Thanh to Km5 roundabout, National Highway 26, Buon Ma Thuot city, invested by Binh Minh Company Limited, with a total investment of 398.2 billion VND.
The inspection contents will include approval of investment policies; project establishment, appraisal and approval; investor selection; capital allocation, payment and settlement; land allocation, land lease, change of land use purpose; land price determination and performance of financial obligations on land.
The inspection team will be led by a Deputy Inspector of Dak Lak province. The inspection period will not exceed 30 days. The inspection period is from the project implementation date to July 1, 2025. Relevant departments, branches and localities such as the Department of Finance, Department of Agriculture and Environment, Department of Construction, Phu Yen Economic Zone Management Board are required to closely coordinate and provide relevant documents to the Dak Lak Provincial Inspectorate.
According to the plan, the thematic inspection will be implemented in August 2025 and completed and conclusions will be issued before September 15, 2025. A summary report of the inspection results will be submitted to the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee to report to the Government Inspectorate before September 20, 2025.
