The Venezuelan government affirmed that the victory of the August Revolution not only opened the way for independence for the Vietnamese people, but also lit up hope and became an example of resilience for peoples struggling for sovereignty and self-determination. The heroic legacy of the revolutionary autumn has contributed to creating a vibrant and prosperous Vietnam today - a country that is considered a source of inspiration for the international community thanks to its dynamism and ability to rise strongly.

Meanwhile, Professor Furuta Motoo, a Japanese scholar famous for his research on Vietnam, said that the August Revolution demonstrated to the world the independence of a unified Vietnam, maintaining that independence in solidarity with Southeast Asia, where the national independence movement was the most developed in the world at that time. This spirit is also important for modern Vietnam, an active member of ASEAN, striving to improve its international status, integrate and contribute to the common development of the world.

Mr. Motoo believes that Vietnam's August Revolution has two international significances: pioneering the national liberation movement around the world after World War II and opening the era of national independence in Southeast Asia, attracting international political attention to this region. According to him, the universal value that the August Revolution brought is the affirmation of national independence as part of human democracy.

Professor, Dr. Phan Jin'e, member of the Institute of Marxism Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, an expert on Vietnamese issues, said that the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2 is an opportunity for everyone to look back at the great revolution that changed the destiny of the Vietnamese nation. Its historical significance has deeply influenced the theory and practice of the world socialist movement. Professor, Dr. Phan Jin'e affirmed that the August Revolution in Vietnam has great historical significance. Vietnam's success has become a model for the national liberation movement in colonial countries and breathed new life into the world socialist movement.

Looking back after 80 years, the August Revolution and the Declaration of Independence are an everlasting spiritual legacy, its significance has transcended the time and space of 1945. For Vietnam, it was the starting point of national independence and the foundation of social progress. For the region, it was a torch of awakening in Southeast Asia and for the world, it was a resounding call from the collapse of colonialism and an important part in the victory of the world anti-fascist war. For the world socialist movement, it was a milestone of innovation in the socialist movement, creating a “Vietnamese model” of colonial revolution and inspiring many colonial countries to launch movements for national independence and world socialism.
