Cua Van Floating Cultural Center is part of the 3rd sightseeing route on Ha Long Bay. This is a place to display and introduce documents, artifacts, and images of the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of Ha Long fishermen past and present.

Cua Van Floating Cultural Center opened to visitors in 2006. This is the first floating cultural center model in Vietnam for the fishing community, chosen to be built in the former Cua Van fishing village area on Ha Long Bay - a place that was once listed in the top 16 most beautiful ancient villages in the world by the travel website Journeyetc.com.

After many years of exploitation, the Center has now degraded. Accordingly, the Ha Long Bay Management Board is carrying out maintenance and repair of the Cua Van Floating Cultural Center. To ensure the safety of visitors, during the repair process, the Ha Long Bay Management Board announces the temporary suspension of visitors to the Cua Van Floating Cultural Center from April 25, 2024.

Activities to visit Cua Van fishing village and experience tourist services such as rowing boats, kayaking, etc. are still being deployed to serve tourists.

The time the Center will reopen will be announced by the Ha Long Bay Management Board to units, businesses, and tourists.
