The 2024-2025 school year is the final year of implementing the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress, and is also the first year of implementing the 2018 General Education Program in all grades, from grade 1 to grade 12. With the theme "Innovation, quality improvement, solidarity and discipline" and a sense of responsibility, effort and determination, the education and training sector has completed the set tasks and goals, creating trust among the people. In the past school year, the work of universalizing preschool, primary and secondary education and eliminating illiteracy continued to receive attention from localities, creating favorable conditions to mobilize the maximum number of school-age children.

The Education and Training sector has successfully organized the 2025 High School Graduation Exam (the first exam under the 2018 General Education Program) ensuring seriousness, honesty, objectivity, safety, compliance with regulations and fairness for candidates; the scale of vocational education has increased rapidly, the quality of training has changed significantly; the quality of key education continues to improve; the regimes and policies for teachers and students have been fully, promptly and in accordance with regulations... The whole province won 65 prizes (1 first prize, 10 second prizes, 31 third prizes and 23 consolation prizes) in the national high school competition for excellent students; participated in and won 3 prizes (2 third prizes, 1 fourth prize) in the National Science and Technology Competition for high school students; the high school graduation rate in 2025 (after review) reached 97.75%; 468/715 public schools have passed educational quality accreditation and met national standards, reaching a rate of 65.5%.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Vo Hoan Hai emphasized that the 2025-2026 school year is the first year to implement the school year's tasks when implementing the 2-level local apparatus model; it is also the first school year to implement the Resolution of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030. To successfully carry out the tasks of the 2025-2026 school year, comrade Vo Hoan Hai requested the education and training sector to focus on synchronously and effectively implementing the 10 groups of tasks and solutions that have been proposed.

In particular, focusing on carefully preparing the necessary conditions for the new school year, organizing well the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year and celebrating the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of National Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training) on ​​September 5 in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere; continuing to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management of education; innovating and improving the quality of preschool education, general education and continuing education; continuing to invest in facilities, increasing investment resources for education and training; focusing on improving the quality and standardizing the team of teachers and education managers at all levels, meeting the requirements of education and training innovation; at the same time, strengthening digital transformation and application of information technology in education and training.
