Tighten alcohol and drug patrols on National Highway 1A

Ham Tan Traffic Police Station coordinated with Mobile Police PK02 to organize mobile patrols and set up checkpoints to handle violations of alcohol and drug levels at Km 1737 National Highway 1A in Tan Lap commune. This is a road section where traffic accidents frequently occur.

At the alcohol and drug testing checkpoint, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dang Vi, Deputy Head of Ham Tan Traffic Police Station, said: During peak times, the Station has used equipment, expertise, as well as mobilized the maximum force of officers and soldiers to patrol 24/24 hours on the roads. Thereby, thoroughly handling the use of stimulants such as: Drugs, alcohol when participating in traffic.

Deputy Head of Ham Traffic Police Station added: During the process of checking and handling traffic safety violators, officers and soldiers of the Station always uphold the law, following the three mottos "no forbidden zones, no exceptions and no days off".
