The Prime Minister has just issued Decision No. 1270/QD-TTg dated June 24, 2025 promulgating the list of public service units under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Accordingly, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has 50 public service units under it.
The Prime Minister requested the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism to be responsible for reviewing and implementing the arrangement of affiliated public service units to ensure organizational streamlining, promote financial autonomy, and improve operational effectiveness and efficiency according to the public service unit arrangement plan approved by competent authorities and current regulations.
In particular, the Vietnam Reformed Theater, Vietnam Cheo Theater, and Vietnam Tuong Theater merged into the Vietnam National Traditional Theater.
Co Loa Studio and the Cinema Technical Center will be merged into the Vietnam Cinema, Sports and Tourism Center. This center will be renamed the Vietnam Cinema, Culture, Sports and Tourism Center, to be completed before August 1.
Merge the Viet Bac Folk Music and Dance Theatre into the Vietnam Music and Dance Theatre and change the name of the Vietnam Music and Dance Theatre to the Vietnam National Music and Dance Theatre.
