At the 3rd Summer Course Summary Program organized by the Tu Tam Startup Fund, in coordination with the Dong Nai Provincial Women's Union and the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union on the afternoon of August 10, Handong Engineering & Construction Joint Stock Company (Handong E&C) sponsored 600 million VND for long-term charity projects of the Tu Tam Startup Fund.
This year’s summer course attracted nearly 100 orphans from Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai (including the old Binh Duong area), under the Together Parenting Project. Not only is it a creative, useful and inspiring learning space, the program also helps children practice independence, learn how to love and protect themselves.
Ms. Dang Thi Kim Oanh, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Kim Oanh Group, also Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Tu Tam Startup Fund, together with representatives of Handong E&C, presented scholarships to students.
During the 4-day course, children were equipped with many practical life skills such as: teamwork, self-defense skills, dealing with strangers, basic first aid, recognizing and handling dangerous situations. In particular, activities such as writing diaries and sharing feelings with parents contributed to strengthening the connection and understanding between parents and children.
During the summer, children also participate in field trips, the "Run for Orphans" program, cardiovascular screening, and age-appropriate group games and community activities. This is part of the orientation for comprehensive development of body, mind and spirit for children.
The Co-Parenting Project started with 40 children in the "Godmother" program, expanding to 223 children in 2025 - of which: 122 children received a comprehensive support package (financial + non-financial) and 101 children received a non-financial support package.
Ms. Bui Thi Hanh, Vice President of Dong Nai Provincial Women's Union, and Handong E&C presented scholarships to students.
With the goal of preventing children from dropping out of school, being nurtured in a family environment and developing comprehensively, the Fund is committed to long-term companionship until children turn 18 years old. From 2022 to now, 1 child has entered college, 4 children have just completed the university entrance exam in 2025, and the rate of children dropping out of school is very low (only 2 cases in 3 years). Notably, 50% of parents actively accompany their children in programs organized by the Fund.
Within the framework of the program, representative of Handong E&C Company - Mr. Park Jinho - General Director of Handong E&C Company signed a sponsorship agreement of 600 million VND for the Heart Start-up Fund, accompanying the projects: Let's Be Parents, Healing Waves and other charity activities of the Fund.
"Children, don't give up on your dreams. Handong E&C, Kim Oanh Group and the Start-up Fund will always be there to support you in achieving your goals. Dream bigger, aim higher and together make those dreams come true" - said Mr. Park Jinho.

At the closing ceremony, Ms. Dang Thi Kim Oanh - Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Kim Oanh Group, also Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Tu Tam Startup Fund, could not hide her emotions when looking back at the children's journey of growth through each summer.
"From shy and timid children, today the children can confidently stand on stage to perform, daring to express their thoughts and dreams. That shows that as long as they are loved and given opportunities, they will grow very strongly" - Ms. Oanh shared.

She also shared that in the coming time, the Fund will continue to expand its support, not only for orphans due to the COVID-19 pandemic but also for other special cases, including children of humanitarian organ donors.
"We hope the community will join us so that this charity activity can become more and more effective, creating real and lasting value for disadvantaged children and their families."
At the closing ceremony, children and caregivers also participated in activities such as visiting the Tran Bien Temple of Literature historical site, participating in the 0-dong booth, and learning how to make cakes. At the same time, the Fund provided financial support for the 3rd and 4th quarters of 2025 to 122 children in the project, at a rate of 3 million VND/child/quarter.
Students enjoyed attending the event.
According to the plan, from September 2025, the Fund will implement an interest-free tuition loan package for children in university and college projects, with a maximum loan amount of VND 30 million/year, maintained for 3-4 years of study, and repaid after graduation.
At the same time, the Fund launched the "Tu Luc Vi Chinh Toi" Scholarship for children of humanitarian organ donors in the Central and Southern provinces. The scholarship is valued at 1 to 3 million VND/child, along with support for physical and mental health care, connecting children to the Fund's comprehensive development ecosystem. The goal is to help children not drop out of school due to difficult circumstances, and develop sustainably from their own internal strength.
Currently, the Tu Tam Startup Fund focuses on developing three main areas: Developing community projects; Charitable activities; Building a charitable knowledge base.
All aim at the common goal of caring for and supporting children in special circumstances nationwide, contributing to creating a compassionate ecosystem and comprehensive development for children.
