At the meeting to deploy the tasks of the Steering Committee for the 2024 high school graduation exam in Quang Ngai province chaired by Mr. Tran Hoang Tuan, Executive Vice Chairman of the Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee, on the morning of May 24, the Department of Education and Training of Quang Ngai province reported that the whole province had more than 14,400 candidates registered to take the exam.

Of which, there are nearly 13,200 12th grade high school candidates and nearly 1,300 12th grade continuing education candidates.

The 2024 high school graduation exam will take place on June 27 and 28. The entire Quang Ngai province will organize 35 exam sites, an increase of 1 exam site and nearly 1,000 candidates compared to the 2023 high school graduation exam.

According to the initial plan, Quang Ngai province planned to organize 720 examination rooms, including 610 examination rooms, 40 waiting rooms and 70 spare rooms. The total number of staff and teachers working in examination supervision is 2,210 people.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thai, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Quang Ngai province, said that the 2024 high school graduation exam has a new testing site (compared to the 2023 exam), which is the testing site at Pham Kiet High School (Ba Vi commune, Ba To district). This is a testing site in a remote area of ​​Quang Ngai province, mostly Hre ethnic students. Having this testing site will create extremely favorable conditions for students to travel and take the exam.

Up to now, 35 examination sites have been equipped with facilities and equipment for the examination. The Department of Education and Training of Quang Ngai province has also provided training on examination regulations, registration documents and new points in the 2024 high school graduation exam.

Mr. Tran Hoang Tuan, Executive Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province, requested the Steering Committee for the 2024 high school graduation exam of the province to closely coordinate with the Department of Education and Training to do a good job of the exam, ensuring safety and seriousness according to current regulations.

In addition, Mr. Tuan directed units participating in the 2024 high school graduation exam to have a plan to mobilize staff, teachers to invigilate and grade exams appropriately, including preparing for possible situations to respond appropriately.
