People's Artist Thu Ha said that she and her colleagues were assigned to simulate the most typical images, so they had many meetings about the program.
"The entire crew and leaders of the Military Ceremonial Troupe have also thought about and selected typical images. We must do everything possible to leave an impression on the audience in the 8-minute performance.
In the program, 200 soldiers and actors formed a formation, simulating the image of a tank crashing into the gate of the Independence Palace. The image of a soldier holding a flag running quickly to the Palace, waving the liberation flag high with a radiant face made me extremely emotional," the female artist recounted.
According to People's Artist Thu Ha, the art performance " The Country is Full of Joy" was performed by artists and soldiers of the Army Ceremonial Troupe, the Art Troupe of Military Region 1, Military Region 3, Military Region 9 and the Military University of Culture and Arts.
People's Artist Thu Ha flew to Ho Chi Minh City on April 18. Every day, she and other artists participate in pairing and practicing at the 34th Corps Stadium.
The female artist said that during the preliminary and final rehearsals, officers, soldiers, and actors woke up very early to go to the field to practice and there were days when they practiced and rehearsed until late at night.
"In Hanoi, the weather is not very sunny, but in Ho Chi Minh City, there are days when the temperature reaches 45 degrees, the weather is harsh, some actors get sick and faint. 3 days before the parade, some actors get sick and have fever.
On April 30, everyone was so excited that they couldn't sleep. The officers, soldiers, and actors woke up at 2am to prepare for the program. Although it was hard, with the will of Uncle Ho's soldiers, everyone was determined to overcome all difficulties and together complete the assigned tasks," said People's Artist Thu Ha.
During her days in Ho Chi Minh City, artist Thu Ha felt happy to witness the support and encouragement of the audience and people on both sides of the street.
She also regularly visits social networks and sees that people across the country express their affection and praise for the forces participating in the parade, marching and other activities in celebration of the country's important day.
"As a soldier, I am extremely proud to be assigned a mission and to contribute to the country and the Army on such important days for the country," said the female artist.
