In particular, these beautiful actions are even more meaningful when they bloom during the 5 peak weeks of emulation of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Organization towards celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day taking place from March 26 to April 30 and the 10th National Congress of Uncle Ho's Good Children in 2025, which will take place from May 13-15, 2025 in Hanoi.

"Companion" to nurture kindness

In her role as President of the Central Council of the Young Pioneers, Ms. Trang said she feels more clearly that these beautiful actions do not come naturally, but are the result of a persistent education process from family, school and especially through the activities of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers organization.

The Team Organization - under the leadership of the Party, the responsibility and guidance of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union - not only creates useful playgrounds but also proactively designs experiential programs, educating moral behavior in a gentle yet profound way.

Through meaningful movements such as: "Vietnamese children compete to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings", "Thousands of good deeds", "Small plans", "When drinking water, remember its source", "Friends help friends", "I love Vietnam"..., children can directly participate, directly feel and directly change themselves.

Ms. Trang analyzed: "We do not teach children compassion through empty words, but create opportunities for them to practice compassion, from small things like making small plans, sharing a gift, a word of encouragement with a friend, to bigger actions like donating to support disaster areas, participating in youth projects, taking care of heroic Vietnamese mothers, visiting families with meritorious services...".

According to the psychology doctor, developmental psychology research shows that altruistic behaviors that stem from genuine empathy often have a strong emotional impact on observers, activating brain regions related to positive emotions and social bonding.

The beautiful actions of children remind adults of the fundamental values ​​that we sometimes forget. That is a meaningful "awakening" of awareness.

According to Dr. Dao Le Hoa An, the beautiful actions, whether small or great, of the children are precious manifestations of compassion and initial civic responsibility. In addition, the fact that they receive widespread praise shows that society still respects core moral values.

In order for these "seeds" of kindness to continue to flourish and spread more strongly, Mr. An emphasized the need for a synchronous solution from three main pillars: Family, school and society.

According to him, parents' example in words and actions, the way they teach their children about honesty, sharing, gratitude and behavior has a profound and lasting impact. In addition, the mass media needs to play a role in guiding public opinion and actively spreading honest stories of kindness. Examples of good people and good deeds are spread through the media and in the community, along with good traditional cultural values, like "slow and steady wins the race", nurturing the source of kindness in children.

Timely recognition and reward from society for good deeds also strengthens children's beliefs and guides positive behavior.
