Investors continue to expand the oolong tea raw material area for processing at Phat Chi Industrial Park.

Nearly 3 years ago, on 3.4 hectares of 50-year leased area in lots A8b, A12, A14, Phat Chi Industrial Park, Xuan Truong Ward - Da Lat, Long Dinh Joint Stock Company completed the basic construction and put into operation the museum and tea processing workshop associated with the responsibility of forest management and protection. Up to now, each month, this facility attracts about 1,000 domestic and international visitors to explore and experience. Besides checking in in the middle of the green pine forest, visitors can go back in time to the 100-year history of the Vietnamese and world tea industry, witnessing each stage of oolong tea processing at an altitude of 1,500 m above sea level, meeting global food safety standards.

Ms. Tran Phuong Uyen - Deputy Director of Long Dinh Joint Stock Company shared: "Visitors to Phat Chi Industrial Park through lots A8b, A12, A14 of our company are also served oolong tea by staff on the spot. Through the perception of quality and flavor, customers directly choose to buy oolong tea products processed at the factory, increasing every month..." Accordingly, with a factory area of about 1,000 m2, the system of machinery and equipment reaches a maximum capacity of processing 3 tons of fresh Long Dinh oolong tea per day, equivalent to 600 kg of finished products.

According to incomplete data, Phat Chi Industrial Park has been filled with a total leased area of nearly 18 hectares, including 3.4 hectares of the project of Long Dinh Joint Stock Company operating as mentioned above. The main industry of Phat Chi Industrial Park is currently producing, processing, trading agricultural products, beverages, food, forestry products; textiles, fibers, clean industry...

In general, in the whole Lam Dong province, 28 industrial parks have been established, with a total area of nearly 920.5 hectares; 23 industrial parks have infrastructure investors with a planned area of 819.1 hectares. The general assessment of specialized departments and branches in Lam Dong province shows that the industrial parks in the province are formed in accordance with the orientation of sustainable development, creating a space to attract and arrange investment projects, contributing to increasing the value of industrial production, increasing export turnover and budget revenue, contributing to solving jobs for local workers. However, the rate of attracting infrastructure investors is still low; many investors are behind schedule due to difficulties and problems related to land procedures, site clearance, overlapping of industrial park projects with mineral and defense planning; limited budget capital for infrastructure investment, wastewater treatment systems to attract secondary investors...

The immediate solution of the People's Committee at the commune level is to urge investors to speed up the completion of technical infrastructure to put the project in the industrial park into operation soon. For investors in technical infrastructure of industrial parks, speed up the project implementation progress; proactively contact competent authorities to remove related difficulties and obstacles. For functional sectors, promptly propose to allocate public investment capital to carry out compensation, site clearance, and create clean land funds to attract investment to complete technical infrastructure of industrial parks. In addition, functional sectors need to further promote investment, increase the occupancy rate of industrial parks, improve land use efficiency, create momentum to promote economic restructuring between localities and the overall growth of the industrial sector of the whole province.

Thereby, achieving the goal by 2030, forming a number of specialized industrial parks and supporting industrial parks, meeting the requirements of sustainable industrial development of the province and the region.
