Having the opportunity to visit the model of growing raspberries in a greenhouse of Mr. Nguyen Van Trinh, Ward 4, Van Hai Ward, we admired the creativity and initiative of farmers in the province. Mr. Nguyen Van Trinh shared: Realizing that raspberries are easy to grow, have few pests and diseases, have a long growing period, and bring high economic value, in 2020 I boldly converted 1 sao of ineffective crops to experimental raspberry planting. For the plants to grow well, I installed a greenhouse and a drip irrigation system, used organic microbial fertilizers, ensured product safety, and controlled the amount of irrigation water. Up to now, I harvest 5-7 kg of ripe fruit every day, with a selling price of 150,000 VND/kg, earning a profit of about 16 million VND/month. Along with selling fresh fruit, Mr. Trinh also researches and processes raspberry syrups and wines to increase the value of the product. With his boldness and pioneering role in bringing new crops to cultivate in our province, Mr. Nguyen Van Trinh has actively contributed to effectively transforming the crop structure in the locality.

Along with that, regularly coordinate with units to organize seminars, fairs, trade promotion programs... to promote the image and brand of agricultural products of the people... Thereby, many economic models with high efficiency have appeared in Van Hai ward such as: Growing clean vegetables to supply Co.opmart Thanh Ha supermarket of Mr. Nguyen Lin; growing grapes in greenhouses applying high technology of Mr. Phan Van Minh or Mr. Phan Ngoc Yem's success in production and trading of agricultural products...

Along with crops, the association at all levels also focuses on developing the livestock industry in the direction of applying advanced technology, biotechnology, bringing economic benefits while still ensuring environmental hygiene. Accordingly, in order to limit environmental pollution, members of localities such as Do Vinh, Van Hai, Thanh Hai... flexibly apply safe biological livestock farming methods, creating safe livestock products. Synchronously develop aquaculture, exploitation and processing of aquatic products, and fishing logistics. Invest in upgrading and expanding Dong Hai fishing port to become a civilized and modern center of trade, services, and marine tourism.

In parallel with the construction of economic models, in recent years, the Farmers' Associations at all levels in Phan Rang - Thap Cham City have implemented many practical activities to join hands in perfecting and improving the quality of type II urban areas, gradually building Phan Rang - Thap Cham City into a smart city.
