Through the survey, Lang Son has selected 11 locations to build a boarding school system in 11 border communes across the province, with the criteria of ensuring convenient traffic connections and having sufficient essential infrastructure such as electricity, clean water, telecommunications, etc.
According to the plan, each school will have an area of about 5 hectares, with a scale of at least 30 classes with 1,000 students, ensuring technical standards, area, and facilities to serve educational activities.

It is expected that in the 2025-2026 school year, Lang Son will start construction on 3 to 4 schools according to the approved list, which will serve as a basis for experience in building the next schools. The teaching staff from the previously scattered schools and school locations will be concentrated in the new school.
The boarding school system in the border communes has been built and put into operation, which will help local people's children have the opportunity to access quality education, narrow the gap with other regions, and create equality in education.
Mr. Hoang Quoc Tuan, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Lang Son emphasized: "Investing in building classrooms for schools in the border communes of Lang Son is an important task in socio-economic development and implementing ethnic policies to improve people's knowledge, quality of human resources and especially create a source of cadres, improve the material and spiritual life of people in border areas, contributing to strengthening national defense and security".
