Delegates visit the book exhibition space

With the theme “Entering the era of national growth with books”, the fourth Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in 2025 has affirmed the role and profound significance of books in people's spiritual life. In the current era of strong digital transformation, people have become more aware of the importance of maintaining and developing reading habits, spreading reading culture in the community, especially the young generation. Thereby, building a reading culture becomes the foundation for creating a learning, creative and sustainable development society.

This is also an opportunity for the people of Kon Tum province to honor books and those working in libraries, publishing and distributing books that have brought each page of books to readers. Thereby, helping the younger generation get closer to the world of knowledge, arousing a passion for reading, forming a habit of self-study and lifelong research.

Students are excited to participate in Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day.

Mr. Phan Van Hoang - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Kon Tum province, said: In recent times, the Department has always closely coordinated with all levels, sectors and localities to organize many practical activities to develop reading culture in the community. Public library systems and mobile library car programs have been established, bringing books to schools and remote areas in the area. Along with that, with the goal of "every citizen reads books every day", the unit has organized many competitions, exchanges with authors and works, creating a space for the masses to have more inspiration for reading, gradually building a civilized and knowledgeable society.

At the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in 2025, delegates, students and people in Kon Tum province visited the exhibition space of literary works with many different topics such as: History, politics, culture, land and people...

On this occasion, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Kon Tum province presented books to 3 schools in the province, with a total value of 21 million VND.
