It is known that the number of visitors during the 3-day holiday on April 30 and May 1 this year is the highest ever during the holidays at Xeo Quit Relic Site. Director of Xeo Quit Relic Site Tran Chi Cuong said that most of the visitors are young people from many provinces and cities.
Talking about the reason for the increase in visitors compared to previous years' holidays and Tet, Mr. Tran Chi Cuong said: "In recent times, the relic site has been proactive in preserving and promoting the values of the relic; strengthening propaganda work to localities, schools and protecting green landscapes and a clean ecological environment.
In addition, through the promotion of tourists, especially young people on social networking sites, it has contributed to creating a love for learning about history and exploring the wild nature of Xeo Quit Relic Site.

Xeo Quit was the revolutionary base of Kien Phong Provincial Party Committee (now Dong Thap Province) from 1960-1975. The relic site has more than 62 hectares, of which about half of the area is cajuput forest, and was ranked as a National Historical and Cultural Relic in 1992.
This place is identified as one of the typical tourist destinations of Dong Thap province and the Mekong Delta region, a place to "Preserve history and preserve the soul of the countryside".
Young people come to Xeo Quit, especially on the occasion of April 30, to make a pilgrimage to the land rich in tradition of their ancestors.
