On May 4, the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City said that during the 5-day holiday, from May 30 to May 4, the total number of visitors and tourists in the area is estimated at 610,000, an increase of more than 50% over the same period in 2024.

Of which, the number of overnight guests reached about 230,395, of which international guests reached 105,000, an increase of 44%. Total revenue from tourists is estimated at 2,426 billion VND.

Thanks to favorable weather and a variety of cultural, sports and tourism activities taking place throughout the city, the room occupancy rate in the entire area reached about 85%.

Particularly during the peak days from April 30 to May 2, many accommodation establishments reached 100% operating capacity. Not only hotels in the central area, but also accommodation establishments in the suburbs such as Nguyen Tat Thanh, Lien Chieu, Hoa Bac and Hoa Ninh coastal routes also recorded a number of fully booked rooms.

Passenger transport to Da Nang also recorded excitement. During the 5-day holiday, Da Nang International Airport received 654 flights, an average of 130 flights/day, an increase of 12% compared to normal days.

The railway industry welcomed more than 13,600 passengers; 18,100 passengers experienced a cruise on the Han River.

Notably, on April 30, the AIDASTELLA cruise ship docked at Tien Sa port, carrying more than 2,000 international tourists from the US, UK, Germany, Canada, the Netherlands... to visit the city's famous tourist attractions such as Ngu Hanh Son, Linh Ung Pagoda - Son Tra and the Cham Sculpture Museum.

Attractive destinations this time include Sun World Ba Na Hills, Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park, Mikazuki Water Park 365, Danang Downtown, Son Tra Peninsula, Hai Van Quan, Danang Museum...
