This is an important milestone, recognizing the achievements of the Vietnam Space Center and the Academy in successfully implementing satellite projects and gradually mastering the technology.
The museum is not only a modern architectural work but also the result of the intelligence, creativity and aspiration to reach the stars of the Vietnamese people. This is a space for experiencing space science and technology, where visitors can explore the birth of the universe and learn about today's advanced technologies.
Construction began in October 2022. The museum has a total area of over 3,000 square meters, including outdoor and indoor exhibition spaces, divided into 5 areas with unique themes. The outdoor space displays models of planets in the Solar System and a unique sundial. Meanwhile, the indoor space consists of 2 floors, with the first floor dedicated to basic science experiments and an introduction to the solar system, planets, stars, and galaxies. The second floor includes an exhibition area for space technology and technology applications in life, especially models of satellites, rockets, and spacecraft of the International Space Station ISS.

The Space Technology Applications Zone showcases the contributions of space science and technology to everyday life, from weather forecasting to communications and global positioning applications.
A highlight is the Astronomy Tower area with a modern optical reflecting telescope, 500mm in diameter, allowing clear observation of the sky. In addition, the planetarium dome projection area with a 6-projector system, reproducing images of the sky and stars in 3D effect, giving visitors the feeling of flying into space.
The museum also demonstrates the connection between Vietnamese history and culture with space through ancient star maps and legends associated with folk culture such as Cuoi, Nguu Lang - Chuc Nu. The exhibits are arranged in chronological order, from the formation of the universe to current achievements and future orientations, promising to become an educational destination, inspiring passion for space science, especially for the younger generation.
A representative of the Vietnam Space Center said: “We believe that, with vivid experiences and useful knowledge, the museum will become a beacon that ignites the passion for exploring science and technology for the young generation.”
According to Deputy Director of the Vietnam Space Center, Dr. Le Xuan Huy, after the opening ceremony, the Museum will open for trial visits in the near future.
