11th Conference of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association Executive Committee

BHG - On the morning of May 22, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association (VHNT) held a conference of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association Executive Committee, term VI, 2020 - 2025, to evaluate the results of the first 6 months of the year and discuss and agree on directions and tasks for the last 6 months of 2025.

Conference overview.

The provincial Literature and Arts Association currently has 162 members, operating in 7 local branches and 6 specialized branches including: Literature, Fine Arts, Music, Photography, Folk Arts, and Theater and Cinema. In the first 6 months of the year, the Literature and Arts Association merged 2 branches, Hoang Su Phi Literature and Arts Association and Xin Man Branch, into Hoang Su Phi - Xin Man District Literature and Arts Association; successfully organized an exhibition on activities summarizing 50 years of Vietnamese literature and arts after the National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - 2025)... from cadres, civil servants to members, they are highly united in ideology, promoting enthusiasm, excitement, and passion for creating literary and artistic works.

Speaking at the conference, the leaders of the Association of Literature and Arts set out the tasks for the coming time to continue to consolidate and help grassroots branches with limited operations, carry out mergers to ensure the number according to regulations for effective operation; focus on training collaborators to create a source for developing new members; stabilize the organization of the Association's leadership and prepare well the contents to successfully organize the 7th Provincial Association of Literature and Arts Congress, term 2025-2030; orient and raise awareness for cadres, civil servants in the association's agencies and members to contribute to the successful implementation of the task of arranging administrative units, streamlining the apparatus of the political system; ensure activities in accordance with the Association's Charter...

At the conference, the Executive Committee of the Association discussed and agreed on the contents of the reports on adjusting the activities of the Literature and Arts Association in 2025; the contract of the Fine Arts Editor of the Ha Giang Literature and Arts Magazine; the dismissal of the position of President of the Association for the 2020-2025 term to retire according to the decision for Mr. Lam Tien Manh. At the same time, Mr. Ho Viet Son, Vice President of the Association, was assigned to run the activities of the Literature and Arts Association for the 2020-2025 term while the President of the Association has not been elected.
