At the seminar, Director of the Youth Startup Support Center Nguyen Phan Huy Khoi said that recently, the center has coordinated to deploy free training courses on artificial intelligence (AI), digital economy , and e-commerce. In just 3 months, over 10,000 people were trained, including many young people with disabilities.
The center is currently researching specific training programs suitable for the abilities and needs of disabled youth, supporting the construction of online business channels, connecting with banks, developing affiliate marketing models (product marketing), opening up many opportunities for you to proactively generate income and affirm your self-worth.
At the seminar, many solutions were proposed to support disabled youth in removing barriers to accessing capital, technology, knowledge, and social prejudices. Mr. Nguyen Lam Thanh, representative of TikTok Vietnam, said that technology is the solution to the problem of narrowing the gap in information and opportunities.
Social platforms can help young people with disabilities build their personal brands, promote products, and connect directly with customers without being limited by geographical space or physical barriers. TikTok is ready to coordinate with units to build training programs, helping young people with disabilities exploit the full potential of digital platforms to start a business.
Ms. Dinh Thi Thuy, Head of the Department of People with Disabilities (Department of Social Protection, Ministry of Health ), said that currently, people with disabilities starting a business can borrow up to 100 million VND, and production and business establishments can borrow 2 billion VND according to Decree 74/2019/ND-CP regulating policies to support job creation and the National Employment Fund. This decree is currently being amended, if approved by the Government, the limit will double for individuals (200 million VND) and 5 times for establishments (10 billion VND).
In addition, people with disabilities who work still receive social benefits and are not cut off. The government has also provided health insurance for people with severe and extremely severe disabilities, and is studying to expand it to the mild group to reduce costs for businesses recruiting...
