RON 95 gasoline price increased by 210 VND, up to 20,090 VND/liter

Gasoline prices will be adjusted up at 3:00 p.m. on August 21.

Specifically, the price of RON 95-III gasoline (a popular type on the market) increased by VND210/liter to VND20,090/liter. Similarly, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline also increased by VND110/liter, with the retail price at VND19,460/liter. In contrast, the price of diesel oil decreased by VND170/liter to VND17,900/liter.

In today's operating session, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance still did not set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for petroleum products.

The petroleum price stabilization fund of some key enterprises still recorded a large positive level because many recent management periods were not used. The fund balance as of the end of the first quarter was more than 6,079 billion VND.

Currently, the Ministry of Industry and Trade is seeking opinions to submit to the Government a roadmap for applying biofuels, with the goal of switching to using E10 biofuel nationwide. In particular, the use of E10 gasoline is expected to be applied in early 2026.
