Nearly 300 international scientists share about new technology applications in green buildings in Da Nang

ĐNO - On July 25, nearly 300 scientists and researchers attended the 10th international conference "Application of new technology in green buildings" - ATiGB 2025 organized by the University of Technical Education, University of Danang. Here, scientists and researchers shared and provided new scientific and technological solutions to serve the strategy of green and sustainable development.

According to the organizers, AtiGB is increasingly receiving attention from scientists and researchers. This year, 269 articles from 800 authors, experts, and scientists from home and abroad were submitted to the conference. After the selection process, 206 articles were accepted, including 172 articles published on IEEE Xplore and 34 articles published in the National Conference Proceedings with ISBN.

The new point of the conference is that researchers keep up with the development trends of modern science and technology, focusing mainly on the topics of information technology and digital transformation (81 articles), along with other key areas such as automatic control, IC design, semiconductors; renewable energy, energy saving; materials, biotechnology and environment; mechanical engineering and production, applied mechanics; construction engineering, traffic, infrastructure; architecture, urban planning; automotive engineering, electric vehicles.

The workshop included a plenary session with 3 high-quality, highly applicable studies: “Development of predictive multiphysics models for architectural materials and metamaterials” by Prof. Jean-François Ganghoffer (University of Lorraine, France); “Application of AIoT in the green energy industry” by Prof. Yo-Ping Huang (Taiwan - China); “Machine learning for renewable energy: Improving real-time forecasting of solar radiation” by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emanuele Giovanni Carlo Ogliari (Polytechnic School of Milan, Italy) and many reports of painstaking research in 9 specialized subcommittees.

Speaking at the workshop, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Le Hung, Rector of the University of Technical Education, emphasized: “Vietnam is committed to achieving the goal of net-zero emissions by 2050. This national goal makes research on sustainable construction technology more important than ever.

Conferences such as ATiGB facilitate knowledge exchange and research collaboration between academia and businesses, contributing to promoting the United Nations' sustainable development goals related to climate change response, clean energy and sustainable cities; seeking green technology solutions in construction, directly contributing to the sustainable development of Vietnam".
