Currently, EVNSPC and its member units have prepared plans to ensure safe and stable power supply; strengthen operational discipline to ensure security, safety and fire prevention during holidays and serve political, cultural and social events organized by localities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification and International Labor Day 1/5.

EVNSPC and its member units organize leadership, operation, and electrical repair duties, ensure SCADA system operation, ensure stable and continuous 24/7 computer network and communication systems during holidays.

The Corporation requires power companies to inspect and strengthen the power grid to ensure safe, continuous and reliable power supply for electricity customers and locations of political, cultural and artistic activities during the holidays, and pay attention to ensuring power for factories and businesses producing clean water and irrigation to combat drought and salinity.

EVNSPC pays special attention to the task of ensuring electricity for important locations in the management and power supply areas, such as the headquarters of the Party, State, Government, National Assembly, national defense, security, leadership agencies in provinces and cities, radio and television agencies at the central and local levels, hospitals, and clean water production facilities.

At the same time, prepare adequate supplies, equipment, communication systems and means of transport, and be ready to quickly handle any incidents that may arise. Coordinate with local authorities, police and military to develop and implement plans to protect security, order, safety and fire prevention for electrical works, agency headquarters, warehouses, camps, etc.

In recent times, power companies in 21 southern provinces and cities have actively coordinated with local authorities and mass media agencies to disseminate and popularize safe and economical electricity usage measures to electricity customers; to propagate and prevent and strictly handle cases of shooting metal-coated paper fireworks, flying kites and throwing objects onto power lines, violating the safety corridor of the power grid.
