On the morning of July 24, at the Luong Van Tri Ward Health Station, after being examined and getting medicine, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong, 72 years old, residing in Quang Trung I block, shared: I still come for examination as before, the doctors are still the same, there are also new young doctors. I heard about the merger but I don't see any disruption. Today there is also a free examination program, I was given medicine for free, and I also received very detailed advice.
It is known that immediately after receiving all human resources, assets and tasks from the City Health Center, the Board of Directors of Cao Loc Regional Health Center reviewed and reassigned personnel according to the job position project, ensuring that each department, office, commune and ward health center operates stably, without interruption of professional work, protecting and taking care of the health of over 194,000 people in 8 wards and communes.
Dr. Chu Dinh Que, Director of Cao Loc Regional Health Center, said: We have closely followed the instructions and guidance of superiors, clearly assigned tasks to each area, arranged rotating human resources, increased rapid response teams to support commune-level health centers when necessary; ensured adequate medicine, medical supplies and equipment for professional services. At the same time, we have conducted inspections and provided guidance to commune/ward health centers to quickly stabilize their operations and improve the quality of performing tasks and professional work.
In July 2025, the Regional Health Center inspected 6/8 commune and ward health centers. Through the inspection, most units complied with the working hours and professional regulations. Up to now, the center's two facilities and 8 commune/ward health centers still maintain daily medical examination and treatment, meeting the needs of the people.
Sharing about the activities after the merger, Dr. Phung Bach Ve, Head of Dong Kinh Ward Health Station, shared: Initially, many medical staff were concerned that the merger would cause disruptions in work. However, thanks to the close direction of the Center's Board of Directors, professional work at the station still took place normally, even more smoothly when receiving timely professional support from the center's departments and offices. Currently, the station manages the health records of over 54,000 people, maintains national health programs well, and the vaccination rate is always above 95%.
With that initiative, despite the expanded management scale, Cao Loc Regional Medical Center still maintains professional standards, seriously implements 24/7 emergency response work at both levels, no professional incidents occur, no complaints about the spirit and service attitude of medical staff.
Along with medical examination and treatment, the center has organized regular monitoring in communes and wards; no dangerous epidemics have occurred. From the beginning of July 2025 to now, infectious diseases have only recorded sporadic cases and have been completely cured. Expanded immunization work has remained stable with the rate of basic vaccination for children under 1 year old reaching 94.63%, and pregnant women receiving tetanus vaccination reaching 91.19%. The unit has focused on promoting digital transformation with the rate of cashless payments reaching 99.06%; the rate of population managed by electronic health records is 98.94% (target over 96%).
With a proactive, responsible and creative approach, Cao Loc Regional Medical Center has been promoting the strengths of both predecessor units, aiming to better serve the health care needs of local people. In the coming time, Cao Loc Regional Medical Center will continue to improve processes, promote socialization of healthcare, and enhance digital transformation to modernize the management and care of people's health.
