Expected route of movement of A80 parade blocks on August 21

At 8:00 p.m. on August 21 (Thursday), the first rehearsal of the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2 (abbreviated as A80), will take place at Ba Dinh Square and central streets along the parade route.

The scale of the first rehearsal is equivalent to that of an official ceremony, with the participation of military parades, marching bands and support forces. People can watch from afar on the streets along the rehearsal route.

It is expected that after passing the stage at Ba Dinh Square, the parade groups will be divided into 7 directions, as follows:

The Block of Ceremonies

Ceremony stage -> Hung Vuong street -> Nguyen Thai Hoc street -> Trang Thi street -> Trang Tien street -> August Revolution Square.

Military walking block, foreign military, police, militia

Direction 1: After passing the stage, turn right on Le Hong Phong - follow Ngoc Ha to the Botanical Park.

Direction 2: After passing the stage, at the end of Hung Vuong Street, turn left on Nguyen Thai Hoc - Trang Thi - Trang Tien to August Revolution Square.

Direction 3: After passing the stage, at the end of Hung Vuong street, turn right on Nguyen Thai Hoc - Kim Ma - Lieu Giai - Van Cao to Quan Ngua stadium.

Direction 4: After passing the stage, at the end of Hung Vuong Street, turn left on Nguyen Thai Hoc - Le Duan to Thong Nhat Park.

Mobile police, cavalry

After passing the stage, turn right on Le Hong Phong - follow Ngoc Ha to the Botanical Park.

Red Flag Block

After passing the stage, turn right on Le Hong Phong - Doi Can - Giang Van Minh - Kim Ma - Lieu Giai - Van Cao to Quan Ngua Stadium.

Mass blocs, cultural and sports blocs

After passing the stage, at the end of Hung Vuong Street, go straight to Hang Day Stadium.

Tank block, crawler

After passing the stage, turn onto Le Hong Phong to the Ministry of National Defense headquarters.

Wheel block

Direction 1: After passing the ceremony stage, follow the route Cua Bac - Nghi Tam - Au Co - Vo Chi Cong - Duong Lang - Tran Duy Hung - Thang Long Boulevard - Le Quang Dao to the F1 Racetrack.

Direction 2: After passing the stage, follow the route Nguyen Thai Hoc - Giang Vo - Duong Lang - Tran Duy Hung - Dai Lo Thang Long - Le Quang Dao to the F1 Racetrack.

On the first day of the general training, many roads in Hanoi were banned, temporarily banned, and restricted from vehicles from 5:00 p.m. on August 21 to 3:00 a.m. on August 22, 2025. People should pay attention to the schedule to facilitate their travel to watch the event.
