Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism Nguyen Trung Khanh said that the program "Tam Tuong Tu Thuy - Uoc Hen Hunan" took place in the context of Vietnam - China celebrating the 75th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations (1950 - 2025) and implementing the Vietnam - China Cultural Exchange Year 2025.
The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism is ready to accompany Hunan in particular and Chinese localities in general in developing inter-route tourism products; organizing survey teams, promoting two-way tourism; promoting the expansion of flight routes, improving visa procedures; and strengthening connections between travel businesses of the two countries.

Mr. Tuong Dich Phi, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hunan Province, proposed three contents to enhance cultural exchange and cooperation between Hunan and Vietnam, such as: speeding up the construction of a common cooperation mechanism, promoting the simplification of visa procedures, unifying customs procedures; deepening core cultural elements, promoting mutual translation between classic works of Hunan and Vietnam; promoting the joint creation of an industry ecosystem.
Also on this occasion, China Southern Airlines announced the operation of a direct flight between Hanoi and Hunan with a frequency of 3 flights/week starting from April 24. The flight route is expected to promote two-way passenger exchange between Vietnam and China, opening up opportunities for businesses to develop tourism products.
