(QBĐT) - During a working trip to the Lao PDR, on April 11, Comrade Tran Hai Chau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council visited and presented gifts to the staff of Lang Khang Medical Station, Kham Muon province. Accompanying him were Comrade Doan Ngoc Lam, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of relevant departments and branches.

Lang Khang Medical Station was inaugurated and put into use in 2008. The project has a total investment of nearly 3.2 billion VND. This is a gift that the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Binh province gave to Khammouane province.

Emphasizing the importance of Lang Khang Medical Station in taking care of the health of Lao ethnic people; at the same time contributing to fostering the special friendship and solidarity between the two provinces of Quang Binh-Kham Muon in particular and the two countries of Vietnam-Laos in general, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the team of doctors and medical staff of the unit to continue to improve their professional qualifications and ethics to do better in treating patients. Comrade Tran Hai Chau also assigned the Quang Binh Department of Health to regularly monitor and grasp the situation in order to provide timely assistance to Lang Khang Medical Station.
