Speaking at the conference, Major General Dang Hong Trien, General Director of the Vietnam - Russia Tropical Center, assessed that immediately after the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense issued Directive 124 and the Project, following the guidance and implementation of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, the Party Committee, the General Directorate of the Center and the leaders at all levels have seriously grasped, studied deeply, concretized, flexibly applied and implemented effectively.

The Vietnam - Russia Tropical Center is stationed in all three regions of the North, Central and South; its functions and tasks are multidisciplinary and multi-field research with many different characteristics; its staff is often dispersed in the implementation of scientific topics and tasks. Therefore, concentrating the staff to organize political education faces many difficulties.

Faced with that reality, leaders and commanders at all levels of the center, on the one hand, seek to overcome difficulties, and on the other hand, actively and regularly pay attention to leading and directing the innovation of content, programs, forms and methods of political education suitable to the characteristics and situation of the center, aiming for practicality and effectiveness, deepening traditional education and education of scientific research tasks.

The cultural institutions of the center have been invested in and elaborately built. In particular, the center's traditional house not only effectively serves political education but is also a place to welcome leaders of the Party, State, Government, National Assembly, all levels and sectors in the country, and high-ranking delegations from the Russian Federation and several other countries.

After 12 years of implementing Directive 124 and 10 years of implementing the Project, political education has made an important contribution to fostering the ideals and aspirations of dedication for the staff, workers, and soldiers of the Vietnam - Russia Tropical Center and promoting the scientific research work of the center to develop both in breadth and depth. The unit is always united, unified, the ideological situation of the staff, workers, and soldiers is stable, strictly following the Party's guidelines and policies, State policies and laws, military discipline, and unit regulations, contributing to building a clean and strong Party organization, a comprehensively strong center, "exemplary, typical", ready to receive and excellently complete all assigned tasks.
