The Organizing Committee of the Kingtek International Pickleball Tournament 2025 has officially finalized the list of athletes participating in all 8 events, belonging to 3 skill levels including novice, intermediate and open. The tournament has created strong attraction when nearly 700 players from Malaysia, Vietnam, India, China, Singapore, Indonesia... registered to participate.
Businesswoman Madam Truyen organized the Kingtek pickleball team to participate in the tournament.
In the Open category, there are many strong players such as Ho Vu Hoan, Hoang Thanh Trung (Vietnam), Mayur Patil (India), Karina Aditya (Indonesia), Sarge Kaur (Malaysia)...
Former Malaysian tennis player Colin Wong confirmed his participation in the tournament after officially retiring from tennis. Finding passion for the new sport of pickleball, Colin Wong decided to quit his job in the US to focus on practicing and competing in pickleball.

Former Vietnamese tennis player Hoang Thanh Trung also found joy in pickingleball. Thanks to hard training, at the age of 43, Hoang Thanh Trung still maintains a good physical foundation. In addition, the pair Dinh Chuyen - Hung Thien, who previously won the 19+ age group at the Malaysia Open International Tournament, also participated in the competition.
With diverse competition content, the Kingtek 2025 international pickleball tournament creates opportunities for many players from amateur to elite to express their passion, exchange and connect.
In that spirit, businesswoman Madam Truyen, President of Kingtek Pickleball Club and Head of the tournament organizing committee, also boldly registered to participate.
Ms Delima Ibrahim, acting president of the Malaysian Pickleball Association, participated in the competition.
"Pickleball is a fun, healthy, easy-to-play sport that connects people easily. We decided to organize a tournament in Malaysia to introduce and promote the Vietnamese pickleball community to regional and international pickleball friends. This is also an opportunity for players to exchange, compete, learn, and experience competing in international tournaments" - businesswoman Madam Truyen shared.
The tournament also saw the participation of Ms. Delima Ibrahim, acting president of the Malaysian Pickleball Association.
The Kingtek International Pickleball Tournament 2025 - taking place on August 16 and 17 - has a very attractive prize structure. The prize for the champion of the open category is RM5,000 (about VND30 million), the champion of the intermediate category is RM3,000 (about VND18 million) and the champion of the category for the new players is RM2,000 (about VND12 million).
