At the working session, the delegation listened to the Provincial Military Command report on the results of military and defense tasks in the first quarter of 2025. Accordingly, during the quarter, the Provincial Military Command strictly maintained combat readiness at all levels; coordinated with forces to grasp the situation in the air, border lines, peripheral areas, inland, cyberspace, and key areas to ensure political security and social order and safety.

The whole province has organized the handover and receipt of nearly 2,880 citizens to join the army (reaching 100% of the target); received more than 500 new soldiers to the unit to organize the establishment and training according to plan.

The work of building the militia and self-defense force, national defense and security education achieved the assigned targets; well organized emulation activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Gia Lai Province Liberation Day (March 17, 1975 - March 17, 2025) and Southern Liberation Day, National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); visited and celebrated the traditional New Year in 3 northeastern provinces of Cambodia.

The provincial armed forces also actively participated in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses with 1,643 completed houses (1,195 houses built, 448 houses repaired), contributing 7,004 working days of officers and soldiers; directing Team K52 to search for and collect the remains of martyrs who were Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died during the war in Cambodia (up to now, 22 remains have been collected)...

Concluding the inspection, Major General Cao Phi Hung - Deputy Commander of the Military Region acknowledged and commended the results achieved by the provincial armed forces in the first quarter of 2025. At the same time, he requested that in the coming time, the Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command continue to do a good job of advising the Party Committee and the government to lead and direct the implementation of military and defense tasks; strictly maintain combat readiness, build a regular order, and manage discipline; proactively mobilize forces and technical means, ready to participate in preventing, combating, overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, and search and rescue; pay attention to the spiritual life of officers and soldiers; focus on leading and directing the building of a comprehensively strong unit "exemplary model".
