On the afternoon of April 14, Vice Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan chaired a working session with localities on the results of implementing the National Target Programs in the first 3 months of 2025.

According to the report at the meeting: the total capital plan for 2025 (including previous years extended to) in the areas of Tam Ky, Dien Ban, Hoi An, Dai Loc, Nui Thanh, Duy Xuyen, Thang Binh, Phu Ninh, Que Son, Hiep Duc and Tien Phuoc is 669,900 million VND (including the central budget, the province and the districts/cities/towns). As of April 10, 48,339 million VND has been disbursed, a rate of 7%. In particular, 2 capital sources: the National Target Program for Poverty Reduction and the Socio-Economic Program for Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas have not been disbursed.

This year is the final year to complete the goals and tasks of the Program in the period of 2021-2025. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan requested that Party committees and organizations continue to pay attention and direct the implementation of capital disbursement of National Target Programs. Localities urgently review the remaining targets and objectives until the end of 2025 to develop specific action plans to complete the set goals.

For ongoing projects, it is necessary to speed up the construction progress. In case of delay, the contractor is requested to work overtime to complete the project according to the contract. The People's Committees of districts, towns and cities shall strengthen leadership, urge, inspect and supervise the work with specialized departments, commune People's Committees and investors to grasp the specific implementation status of each target, criterion, project, sub-project and component content of the National Target Programs in order to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles, speed up the implementation progress and disburse the allocated capital according to the set requirements.
