Kon Ka Kinh is also a magical land with unique indigenous cultural sediments, where the sound of gongs resonates in the new rice festival, the forest god worship ceremony, where majestic communal houses stand tall in the middle of the village, the warm aroma of rice wine blends with laughter, and skillful hands, still diligently weaving, weaving, and making musical instruments from bamboo. The harmony between nature and culture has created a unique and distinct identity.

Arriving in Kon Ka Kinh, every step opens up new experiences. You can wander on trekking paths under the forest canopy, cross streams to conquer the White Rock peak or reach the “roof” of Gia Lai, get lost in the forest with strange shapes. Awakening Kon Ka Kinh

Although a treasure trove of natural and cultural resources, Kon Ka Kinh remains a little-known destination. In the first 7 months of 2025, the Park welcomed only 342 visitors, and tourism activities are still small-scale, not commensurate with its potential.

In order to bring this "green gem" closer to tourists, Kon Ka Kinh National Park has had many promotional activities to attract tourists.

The garden cooperated with tourism businesses to organize the race to conquer the White Rock Peak twice, inviting travel agencies and press agencies to survey, and at the same time perfecting and testing many discovery tours from easy to difficult, meeting the diverse needs of tourists.

These efforts have received support from tourism businesses. Ms. Truong Thi Phuong Nga, Director of Gia Lai Eco-tourism Trading Company, said: Kon Ka Kinh is a special destination, where each cultural village on the edge of the forest, each trekking route across the stream brings a valuable experience.

According to Ms. Nga, combining forest-sea tourism will help connect this destination in the journeys "up the forest - down to the sea", so that Kon Ka Kinh will be more clearly present on the map of Vietnam tourism.

From the eastern part of Gia Lai province, Mr. Pham Hoang Truc, Director of Gotour Travel Company, also shared his strong impression when he first came to Kon Ka Kinh. According to him, the combination of nature and Bahnar culture can create unique, sustainable and “never-outdated” community ecotourism products.

“This fall, we will introduce a new tour to explore the ripe rice season in Kon Ka Kinh, combining it with taking photos of beautiful moments in the forest. I believe this will soon become an attractive destination. In the coming time, the Company will continue to prioritize developing products associated with Kon Chu Rang Nature Reserve and Kon Ka Kinh National Park,” said Mr. Truc.

During a recent survey and working trip to Kon Ka Kinh National Park, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan affirmed: Kon Ka Kinh is not only a "rare treasure" of Vietnam but also a priceless gift of nature to humanity.

He emphasized that the province will prioritize biodiversity conservation in parallel with sustainable tourism development, infrastructure investment, upgrading roads to the Park, and inviting international scientists and journalists to research and promote the image of Kon Ka Kinh to the world to attract tourists.

Excited about the province's orientation, Director of Kon Ka Kinh National Park Ngo Van Thang said: The attention of the provincial leaders has removed many difficulties, especially in forest management and protection associated with biodiversity conservation. In the spirit of "conservation to develop tourism and tourism to serve conservation", the Park will promote links with travel agencies, build tours, develop services, promote and call for investment to complete infrastructure, better serve conservation and welcome visitors.

Kon Ka Kinh is waiting for the footsteps of discovery so that each trip is both a journey of experience and an action contributing to heritage preservation.
