On the afternoon of March 29, in Ha Long City, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee - Provincial Young Pioneer Council solemnly organized the 29th Uncle Ho's Good Children Congress in 2025. Attending the Congress were comrades: Nghiem Xuan Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Le Hai Long, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Central Youth Union's Children's Work Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Central Young Pioneer Council and 162 Uncle Ho's Good Children delegates, representing more than 265,000 teenagers and children of Quang Ninh province - the most beautiful and typical flowers in studying and training.

In Quang Ninh province, there are currently 352 teams with more than 265,000 members, teenagers and children. In harmony with children across the country, in the period of 2023-2025, the team work and children's movement in Quang Ninh province in recent years have made great strides in all aspects.

Many movements and activities have been widely deployed, leaving their own mark in the work of the Young Pioneers and the children's movement in Quang Ninh province. Typical examples include: Organizing 265 free swimming classes, more than 1,800 summer activity points; building 7 red scarf houses and 1 gratitude house for children in difficult circumstances with a total value of more than 640 million VND; building and repairing 58 activity points and playgrounds for children worth nearly 2 billion VND; mobilizing support for more than 10,400 children in difficult circumstances, in remote areas with a total resource of over 6 billion VND...

The above activities have created a healthy environment and useful playground in all fields, contributing to coordination with all levels and sectors in the province, helping Quang Ninh children confidently improve themselves and develop comprehensively in terms of morality, intelligence, physique and aesthetics.

Many of them have won the Kim Dong award, high prizes in excellent student competitions, talent and aptitude competitions at all levels. In addition to the above outstanding achievements, they are also excellent team members, team leaders, and filial, diligent, and kind children who help their friends overcome difficulties.

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that, in implementing Uncle Ho's teachings, in recent years, Quang Ninh province has always paid attention to protecting, caring for and educating children well. In the period of 2021-2024 alone, the provincial budget has invested in education with a total cost of nearly 1,434 billion VND. The rate of national standard schools accounts for 90.8% with many educational support policies issued. In particular, the province has paid attention to building regional and international cultural institutions such as: Provincial Museum-Library Complex, Youth and Children's Cultural Palace... which are spiritual and cultural destinations for the people, creating a healthy and useful playground for children.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that in the coming time, the Party Committee, authorities, agencies, departments, and organizations continue to pay attention to caring for, educating, and nurturing children, creating an environment and conditions for them to develop comprehensively. The Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Pioneer Council continue to invest in improving the quality of grassroots team activities and training team leaders, creating useful playgrounds to gather children; pay attention to caring for children from ethnic minorities, mountainous areas, border areas, islands, and children in especially difficult circumstances. At the same time, coordinate well in organizing extracurricular activities, educating traditions, reading culture, training life skills, legal skills, and civic awareness in each student; organize literature, art, and sports competitions for children, especially composing and singing songs for Quang Ninh youth; Organize well the activities for children in the summer, prevent accidents, drowning, skills to use the internet and participate in social networks safely and healthily; prevent child sexual abuse, school violence; promote the effectiveness of the Youth Talent Fund at all levels and strengthen the socialization of child protection, care and education, ensuring that all children, especially children in difficult circumstances, enjoy their full rights.

The 29th Congress of Uncle Ho's Good Children in Quang Ninh Province is a meaningful event for all levels of the Young Pioneers and Young Pioneers, teenagers and children in the province. It is a festival to honor the representatives of Uncle Ho's Good Children. At the same time, the Congress is also an opportunity to recognize and honor the silent contributions of teachers and officials in charge of children in making the Young Pioneers' activities in the province increasingly comprehensive.

At the Congress, 162 young team members and children were honored as Uncle Ho's Good Children of Quang Ninh province for the period 2023-2025 and 14 teachers and leaders of the Team were awarded for their outstanding achievements in the Team work and children's movement for the period 2023-2025.
