The Director of the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City highly appreciated and acknowledged the efforts of the entire tourism service business community in the city in the past time. Despite many difficulties in business operations and competition for destinations, the units have always made continuous efforts to maintain and improve the quality of customer service, especially bringing attractive products and services, enhancing the experience for domestic and foreign tourists, attracting visitors to the city.
In the first two months of 2025, the total number of guests served by accommodation establishments is estimated at nearly 1.6 million, an increase of 18.3% over the same period in 2024. Of which, international visitors are estimated at 835.7 thousand, an increase of 48.3%; domestic visitors are 731.8 thousand, a decrease of 3.8% over the same period in 2024. Revenue from accommodation and catering services is estimated at VND 4,775 billion, an increase of 21.5% over the same period last year.

In the coming time, the City will have many festivals and big events, especially during the peak tourist season; to be well-prepared, thoughtful, ensure security, safety and quality of service for tourists, the Director of the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City requires businesses to ensure safety (service safety, facilities, food safety), note that hotels with swimming pools and beaches must have operating regulations, arrange 24/7 lifeguards during operating hours and regularly warn beachgoers about bad weather changes, etc.
Along with that, ensure the quality of service must be professional, green, clean, beautiful, satisfying, bringing experience value and satisfaction to tourists. Encourage businesses to use environmentally friendly items, limit the use of disposable plastic waste.

Disseminate and thoroughly understand tax policies for tourist accommodation establishments and tourism service businesses; regulations on accommodation declaration for foreigners; work to ensure food safety at food service establishments during the festival season; disseminate knowledge and skills on fire prevention and fighting and rescue, etc.
According to the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City, in 2024, the number of guests served by accommodation establishments is estimated to reach nearly 10.9 million, an increase of 32.8% compared to 2023, equal to 135% compared to 2019. Of which, international visitors are estimated to reach more than 4.1 million, an increase of 36.3% over the same period in 2023, equal to 128% compared to 2019; domestic visitors are estimated to reach more than 6.7 million, an increase of 30.8% over the same period in 2023, equal to 141% compared to 2019. Revenue from accommodation, food and beverage, and travel in 2024 is estimated to reach more than 31 trillion VND, an increase of 22.1% compared to 2023, equal to 146% compared to 2019.
Plan for 2025: The number of guests served by accommodation establishments is estimated at more than 11.9 million, an increase of 10% compared to 2024. Of which, international visitors are estimated at 4.8 million, an increase of more than 17% compared to 2024; domestic visitors are estimated at more than 7.1 million, an increase of more than 5% compared to 2024.
